What would be the effects on humans if there are no more gorillas?
Gorillas are one of our closest and largest living relatives: We share over 98% of DNA with these gentle giants. These magnificent animals are the worlds’ largest primates. A silverback eastern lowland gorilla (Gorilla beringei graueri) can reach up to 250kg (39st 5lb) in weight, from a diet that is almost exclusively vegetarian. They are important to indigenous communities: Many local indigenous tribes and communities living alongside the gorilla habitat consider the gorillas to be their patron gods. The Kisimba clan (Bahumba) believe they descended from the gorillas. Their traditional tale tells a story of a gorilla rescuing a man that was lost and stuck high up in a tree. To save the man, a gorilla climbed up the tree and gently placed him on his silverback before carrying him back to safety. If we keep losing gorillas it would upset and our natural balance in nature as the forest will start to become overgrown as their contribution to the vegetation is what keeps the rainforests to keep rebuilding as if they were not equal the fee that is of surrounding the rainforest there would be a sense of overgrown this and the rainforest wiper, unattainable however that I know there is other animals that live there but as they are such dominating creatures and do take over a large part of it the impact would cause the indigenous people left with more difficulty in terms of trying to control the greenery around them.
Why are Gorillas important?
-help balance out our vegetation
-closest to our DNA
-important to community tributes (gods)
-predictors will have less food as they keep them fuller for longer in long term it could start to on us as animals start doing for us (ecosystem)
-people are killing and destroy habits for fuels uses such as coal
-Their predators are leopards, crocodiles and humans
-reason why they are becoming endangered Habitat Loss, Hunting, Oil and Gas Exploration, War and Instability, Disease and Humans.
-deforestation (distraction of their lang ) land, trees, humans leaving there to die.
Poaching – for skin and fur
-if we don’t stop this will happen……The loss of trees and other vegetation can cause climate change, desertification, soil erosion, fewer crops, flooding, increased greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and a host of problems for indigenous people.
-Without these large-scale grazers eating lots of vegetation, the natural balance in the food chain would be disrupted. This could negatively affect other wildlife in the area, and ultimately the people who depend on that environment for food, water and other resources.
Taxidermy is the art of preserving an animal‘s body via mounting (over an armature) or stuffing, for the purpose of display or study. Animals are often, but not always, portrayed in a lifelike state. The word taxidermy describes the process of preserving the animal, but the word is also used to describe the end product, which are called taxidermy mounts or referred.A person who practices taxidermy is called a taxidermist. They may practice professionally, catering to museums and sportspeople (hunters and fishermen), or as amateurs (hobbyists). A taxidermist is aided by familiarity with anatomy, sculpture, painting, and tanning.
Subtitles are equivalent to what we would refer to in the United States as “closed captions” or “subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing (SDH).” That is, the timed-text displayed on video that includes both speech and essential non-speech sounds. In this post, we will use the terms “closed captions” and “subtitles” interchangeably.
-Closed captions help with comprehension of dialogue that is spoken very quickly, with accents, mumbling, or background noise.
-Video that mentions full names, brand names, or technical terminology provides clarity for the viewer.
-Closed captions help maintain concentration, which can provide a better experience for viewers with learning disabilities, attention deficits, or autism.
-Captions allow viewers to watch videos in sound-sensitive environments, like offices and libraries.
Sound captions in braces provide subtitles and closed caption services across a whole range of industries.
-Watching videos in sound-sensitive environments
-Providing clarity
-Improving language skills
-Maintaining concentration for longer periods
-Following Along
-Aiding comprehension
-Helping to learn different languages
-Precursor to video translation
Audio describe transcransted: Closed captions are important because they help describe every audio element that plays a role in the wider story, not only spoken words.

Children’s books have different viewpoints and illustration stars in each of these however they will follow a similar pattern and style as in the way they know who their target audiences. The reason I chose to look into children’s books and these special funds is because I wanted to see the character design and illustration within these. I found it very beneficial to what someone read as well as go through as he read through the pages of the books to see how they would bring stories to life as my target audience is young children and the people are a menace towards it is best to see the view angles in which this is betrayed to you and how to go about it in great depth and detail as well as to be able to understand the benefits as to why they do the design.Overall I found there was quite a similar pattern in between all these novels in terms of the way that they would have a simple style folder lightning & backgrounds but the main characters be very bold so made it very clear to the audience who their target was meant to follow throughout the story. This gave me insight in terms of what I need to do and how I need to show my characters in my work as doing this will be my seven points as well as my understanding for this project.
These three TV shows are very popular with young kids to the Tokyo group of audience I’m going for for this project. Where literally everyone in the animation piece is a type of animal and the main character’s been a family of pigs and is just the everyday human life aspect put into children’s animation and the way that they commit children is by making the character Reiki very simple and they have significant traits about which defines also teaches kids about animals. With Dora the Explorer it is well known for being teaching kids about Spanish and one of the main elements is to this is how companion boots who is a monkey who can understand her and also speak Spanish and then with curious George Ilyich is a zookeeper who has a month before a pet now with these TV shows they are very popular with young kids as they have a type of connection where is Reiki fee very silly but they do teach very important life skills as well as attributes towards kids lives which they need to understand as when they get older such as how to fix car and speak Spanish how to go about the world and see the other side and be creative about it. Do research into these and from watching them growing up myself I have found that the best way to communicate through young people is actually do animals as we tend to find animals we queue and reap your to give them a keen appeal about them as well as in terms of connection is a lot easier to connect an animal as well as compared to human as I can be quite difficult for people suffering social interaction.
An scene that i found from tarzan
(DKHR Entertainment, 2020) borrow scene in tarzan
Tarzan is a 1999 American animated adventure film produced by Disney which tells the story of a man who was born in the jungle and is now being raised by gorillas in the jungle until he comes into human contact with other gorillas and finds out what it is like to be a man and who he really is.
In this sequence i found it interesting the way that the silver came into the screen and was doing all the element that gorilas would do when feeling threatened by an outside, however from analyse Jane the chavayer he decide that she was not threatening in terms of going to hurt the family and guide the rest of the pack away. Tarzan is self is a great way of show how gorillas do live in the in the rainforest in the way of life and living and how themselves have threarts where in the beginning the baby gorillas is eaten by a leopard as it had wandered off without his mother knowing and been eating which does actuarial happen in real life. In referring back to the scene when Jane does first walk in the way that the other gorillas in the group do not respond to her they just stare at her as they don’t know what to do as they almost want their leader’s approval to greet the person. Their social interaction between all the scenes is a true representation in what it would be like in a group for everyone.
For this piece I want to go simplistic like the look needs to be simple design so for all ages to understand it and that it makes sense to everyone. I wait to go for a bold colour and where they stand out on there but I put in bold balck outlines so when the piece all comes together such as the background it will be easier to define the difference between the two.
I think basic colour will be the best way to go about this as it will be easier to understand for everyone such mainly primary and secondary colours. Also taking in consideration people who aee colour blind it will be easier for them to understand the conference in what is going on.
Bright colours = eye catching / colours that contrast each other will balance them out.
Block colours will be easier for children to understand what is going on and be clearer.
-(Pancare, 2018)Modern color theory uses either the RGB additive color model or the CMY subtractive color model, and in these, the complementary pairs are red–cyan, green–magenta, and blue–yellow.
-In the traditional RYB color model, the complementary color pairs are red–green, yellow–purple, and blue–orange.
-colours can dictate the mood someone or what mood they can turn into by watching your stuff,
-Warmer colors like orange and yellow bring happiness and comfort.
– Red has been known to increase the heart rate and therefore increase alertness and the appetite, while cooler colors like blue and green tend to have a calming effect.
-colour kids can associate with other things, green = grass, blue=sky, yellow= sun etc.
Plain background; maybe more pastel colour with the strong character actually being the colours so the stand out more.
What defects do pastel have?
Pastels are less saturated than primary colors, making them feel light, soft, and calming. For spring, they work well with neutral colors to create a feeling of earthiness and sophistication.
Abstract was an idea but I think doing it simple would make it more audience friendly and so that very one can understand.
What effects of bold colour have?
It also depends on where the (99designs, 2019) psychological effects, biological conditioning and cultural imprinting mean what does that particular person relate to with the colours. For example with me and the primary colours: red is angry, blue is calming and yellow is happy and for secondary; purple is lost, orange is confused and green mutual. When the colours are presented to people they can tragically experience these emotions.Warms colour and soft colours reason for the monkey being in stronger colours than the background. (renketkisi.com, n.d.)With children it applies the same but we tend to see the emotions more as they stand out more as they show it more off as they dont understand what may be going on or to hide what they are feeling in context. Also when being left with certain colours you can tell what feeling/mood there are as they don’t realize it but it can dictate their moods completely. As well as this in doing so, leaving there in certain colours has an effect in general as characters and for example a child a lot of black space can have the effect of feeling low. This can happen from young as when babies are first born they have been said they can not see so all they see is shape and colours so colours and their mood affecting can happen from young.
Humans coming from monkeys or once where were monkeys that turned into humans?
-maybe do a question are based on this question
-both primates
-same ancestor but have evolved differently
-started 8 million years ago
-have the same features as each other like,skulls/behave
-They’re found in high-altitude montane and bamboo forests – sometimes at elevations of 4,000m
– mainly eat leaves, shoots and stems
-Mountain gorillas generally live in groups with several females and their young, and one dominant male.
-Dominant males are known as ‘silverbacks’ because they have a patch of silver hair on their back and hips – which they develop when they’re about 12-15 years old.
(Evolution, 2015) Simpson epospde of change
-Starting off as cell
-develops into many
-jelly fish
-fish
-land animals
-dinsours
-rats
-monkey
-ape
-cave man
-human
-speak development
All these stages are what we know as human and believe this is how human came about and developed into the people that we are today. Watching this even though it is a cartoon is very insightful in the way we can see/ have an idea and see it transform into reality. In terms the way the human racism has grown as people have different reason and version as into human came around there is main idea as to where this way we started. And in this it show how monkey be came humans and in some aspect the theory does it believe able.
(Theory of Evolution: How did Darwin come up with it? – BBC News, 2019)
-people thought man came from god and horses
-1809-1882
-Natural selection
-20 years to find his ideas
-he thought in his 5 year journey at 22 there must be a natural link as some dinosaurs creatures look like the creatures we have today
-adaption
-Thomas Robert Malthus
-survival struggling
-animals changing in order to live in the environment that we are in
-reproduction
-this is why when reproducing is the animals can not adparting and change with the times then it will not survive and the continues of changing and growing comes down too whether not they can keep up and if they can there can create become new creatures(animals)
-Alfred Russel Wallace
-the origins of the species
-diversity
-put human in the same levels are creatures
So Darwin came up with the theory and idea that by natural selection is how animals have come about and changed thought out times and without this there would not be any lives focused left behind. Through reproduction and adapting is how evolution came about and how we as humans are here today and not from good.
(National Geographic Society, 2019) who came with the idea of evolution
-7million year ago
-human race broke away from champions
-20 kinds of human species (hominns) came to be
-as most died out the one that stayed the longest are Homo heidelebergensis and homo erectus these two created the Homo sapiens which we live on from today
-large brains
-small teeth
-bipedality
-tool use
-3 groups: early hominids/australopithecines/home
-started in Africa
-change in the body
-the brain size changing
-control with fire
-explore rest of the work and grow
Watching this has shown that evolution is forever changing in the way that we think and the way that we do nothing and everything we came from the sources of all other generations. I find it interesting in the way that as creatures we have learnt how to adapt to our climate and overall become the most strongest and over dominating one. As looking at the overall scheme there are more humans than any other mineral on earth.
Yet due to detrimental human activity, such as poaching, civil war, and habitat destruction, the mountain gorilla, a subspecies of the eastern gorilla, has become the most endangered type of gorilla.also when they cicival did happen and when comes into the rainforest that bring their disease and bacteria which can make the animals ill as there bodies as the bodies are not built/ used to human disease to the extreme where the common cold could kill them. Where the gorillas they have some materials that are used in everyday products so they homes are being destroyed in order for these products to be made, such as phones, paper etc. also due to the fact in there family they do not reproduce as fast as other animals reason why they are so endangered as in a small amount of people killing can result in the world losing gorilas. (Explore Rwanda Tours, 2017) As they are pregnant for 8 &½ months which is less than a human but they do not get pregnant as easily. Another facter is that people are wanting to build roads though the rainforest order to transport there good across africa more easier as well being able to go deep into the forest. But when doing this they are not thinking the impact it will have on environment only in profit.
Why do people kill Gorillas? (Explore Rwanda Tours, 2017)
It is illegal for people to kill gorillas and sell them or animals in the national rainforest. People will kill the gorillas especially for food, Bushmeat trade and traditional medicines.
What is the Bushmeat Trade? (Explore Rwanda Tours, 2017)
It is where people will go out and kill gorillas for the wealthy in urban areas to eat as it seems wealthy to do so and people feel the need to do this. They are an easy for this type of trade as though it does happen to other animals however they are picked on so many is because they are higher in value due to rhey weight and size as they mainly in this tarde go off of weight and size to dictate how much they will get from these animals.
Increasing support for gorilla conservation among both local and international communities
(Dian Fossey, 2020)
Looking into this article the ways that we can save the gorilla in another would be too:
1.votes in pertenations into getting the voice heard that gorillas do need to be saved and that they are worth saving.
2. Recycling phone and old election as the metals used to make phones come from Democratic Republic of the Congo which is where a lot of wildlife such as gorillas live and the more high in demand the metals the more they are cutting down the rainforest in order to access the materials the material is called coltan. If people commit to recycling your cell phones and other electronics, this will help reduce the demand for these metals and the hunting that often occurs due to mining camps in the forests and this helping protect the gorillas and their habitat. Eco-Cell is one recycling company that gives back to conservation groups.
(ecocell, 2012)
Eco Sells is a family owned company which specializes in helping people and recycle their old phones and elections so that there can be less mining in the Congo to save the gorillas the company was found in 2003 based in Louisville Kentucky and there have no landfill areas so everything they do is done in save environment from everyone and every living creature.
3. Look into the sustainable palm oil version/ different ways of using/ needed their products from the trees that gorillas need in order to keep their homes safe or by looking different ways of not using the product at all as it affects more than just gorillas.
4. Is by spreading the words about this people don’t realize what the day to day lives have an impact on the rest of the world such as what we eat etc. as when thinking about we do not looking into the indigents in our food unless you have allegedly and eating such as they way palm oil in it such as peanut butter and that impact it has we keep on consuming them the more that is made and the more trees and gorillas lives that will be endanger.
Without these large-scale grazers eating lots of vegetation, the natural balance in the food chain would be disrupted. This could negatively affect other wildlife in the area, and ultimately the people who depend on that environment for food, water, and other resources.
Looking at the photo and when looking into it I need to give my gorilla a strong will type of personality.need to have a strong back and personality about him and the way he stands and moves around need to have an impact so that people know that he is the main impact. Maybe could make the other character more small or in a totally different style therefore the difference is more clearer.
Characterise of gorillas?
Mountain gorillas are as shy as they are strong. But when threatened, they can be aggressive. They beat their chests and let out angry grunts and roars, mainly done by the man males in the group which will be the silverback. Group leaders will charge at the threat. Mothers will fight to the death to protect their young.
-silver back are very protective and the head of the group leader
-how they acted when feeling threatened , they scream, grab foliage, tear up and throw plants, drum on their chest with their hands or fists, stamp their feet, stand on their hind legs and strike the ground with their palms and gallop in a mock
-there can eat all day
-the cozy up at night time
-they have 16 different calls
-live family’s
-Can live over 40+
How do Gorillas live?
Mountain gorillas live in groups of up to 30. The group, or troop, is led by a single alpha male, an older silverback. These males are called silverbacks because of the silver stripe they develop on their backs when they mature. The oldest males of the group are at least 12 years old. These troops also include several younger males, adult and juvenile females, and infants.
In addition to providing protection to group members, silverbacks maintain order and decide all activities within their troop. They schedule feeding trips, resting time, and
travel. They also father the majority of the young in the group.
How much do Gorillas weigh?
Newborn gorillas weigh about 1.8 kg (4 lb.) at birth. They are as weak and uncoordinated as human babies. For the first four years of their lives, they get around by clinging to their mothers backs. By 3.5 years of age, the young gorillas are fully weaned from their mothers milk and start the same diet as mature mountain gorillas: plants, leaves, roots and shoots.
Fully-grown male mountain gorillas can weigh up to 180 kg (400 lb). Females weigh half that at about 90 kg ( 200 lb). Aside from the silver stripe on their backs, male mountain gorillas are distinguished from females because they have a crest of fur on their heads. Both genders have similar thick black hair covering their body. Their thick hair keeps them warm in cold mountain temperatures.
I need to take this into consideration when playing out the way they move and how to build my character so that they move quiet well.
What are primates?(www.collinsdictionary.com, n.d.)(phys.org, n.d.)Primate, in zoology, any mammal of the group that includes the lemurs, lorises, tarsiers, monkeys, apes, and humans. The order Primates, with its 300 or more species, is the third most diverse order of mammals, after rodents (Rodentia) and bats (Chiroptera). Primates arose 85–55 million years ago first from small terrestrial mammals, which adapted to living in the trees of tropical forests: many primate characteristics represent adaptations to life in this challenging environment, including large brains, visual acuity, color vision, a shoulder girdle allowing a large degree of movement in the shoulder joint, and dexterous hands. Primates range in size from Madame Berthe’s mouse lemur, which weighs 30 g (1 oz), to the eastern gorilla, weighing over 200 kg (440 lb). There are 190–448 species of living primates, depending on which classification is used. New primate species continue to be discovered: over 25 species were described in the first decade of the 2000s, and eleven since 2010.

What are the benefits of money living together in a pack?(Gorillas-World, 2014)
Similar to other primates, they are very social animals that live in groups. Life in society helps them to survive. Males protect females and the offspring of the group, and in turn, the dominant male can access the females that are in heat so that they can reproduce and keep the species growing.
doing this worksop was quite benfinical for me as I got to see what it would actually be like to animate in after effects with character.
it does look like a lot more fun but also quiet diffcuilt in the way things to be done and I keep on getting confused with all the layers. this will be my plan b for my horiman project as I plan on using tv paint for this project.
